I was stranded in the city with Nahar the other day. Our plan was to watch the fireworks but the heavy down pour has cancelled the show and left us stranded at the station. In the end we decided not to wait and left. This is probably the worst weather I ever witness since I am here but it is very unfortunate that I couldn't record that moment. But I found few youtube that show how severe it was

Trout Fishing
Posted by akupunyahal at 9:25 PM 0 commentsHuzaizi, Zainah and family invited us for a trout fishing.. Ni kali pertama I pi trout fishing since I came.. This time rainbow trout tak ada, cuma normal trout and salmon yang ada. But I had so much fun today with the fishing. Masuk jer joran tak sampai few second I caught my first catch.
The owner helped us to clean the fish and we cook on the grill right away. The fresh, sweet taste of the trout is amazing...
The place is beautiful, they provide the picnic area with BBQ place. Few wild animals such as kangaroo, emu also can be found.
On our back we stop at one of the reservoir calle Cardinia Reservoir... beautiful scenery with a wide area of picnic too, lots of wild kangaroo around. Spent half an hour there and we headed home to Suzanne St. Had a sambal belacan with rice, ice cream, dadih, cucur pisang and without realising that the day is nearly end. Suddenly the weather change to a thick black cloud and we rush home.
By the time we reached the train station it was down pour with thunder and even actually hails as big as a golf ball. Then the train services was disrupted with sudden flooding. Nahar and I been forced to change few public transport from train to buses and trams.. in the end I end up walking 3km back home in a soaking wet.
Then watched the news and saw the horrible storm that just hit Melbourne. And it seems that the severe weather will stay till tomorrow.

Now it grows as big as it mother but more tamer. It can get very close to me when I have food. I will always feed him a bite or two with my left over scone or cake.

Sony jump to bandwagon
Posted by akupunyahal at 9:36 PM 2 commentsAt PMA 2010, Sony revealed a mock up of it mirror less interchangeable lens camera. It seems that 2010 we will see the photographic industry shift it direction to mirror less interchangeable camera technology that will spur the industry further. This is basically a new segment which is relatively in it early birth. Even Sigma the lens maker also not denying that they will introduce it mirror less interchangeable camera in a near future.
What all this shift mean? It mean the consumer will have more choices to be creative in their photography skills without going to DSLR segment. My prediction is this new segment of camera would eventually replacing the low level DSLR category very soon.
For the big player such as Nikon and Canon, this is definitely not a good news if they are not react to the market needs and technology shift that is happening. I think Canon and Nikon is to complacent with it position as a main player in the industry and this is actually one of the bad sign that their market share in a photographic industry will be taken out.
Samsung has clearly stated that they will strive hard to capture at least 20% market share in a mirror less interchangeable lens camera. Looking at how this electronic giants from Korea evolve, I believe that if the marketing and the product that they produce is good, there is no reason why they cannot achieve that target.
So in less then a year, the ILC segment has grown up very fast with Micro Four Third ILC model grew to 6 models, Samsung NX10 and probably 2 from Sony which are NEX3 and NEX5.
