RSS Follow what I'm writing.Telstar is testing soon to be release VDSL2 Gateway to Australia. As part of the testing and trial process I was selected to be one of their test customer. I received a call from them last week and yesterday the Telstar technician came to my place to install the VDSL2 equipment.
By agreeing to be their test and trial customer I will receive free 25GB data and 60AUD credit every month for the period of 3 to 6 month. It means my internet is free.
VDSL2 or Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line 2 is up to 4 time faster than ADSL2+ that I have currently and 12 times quicker than normal ADSL.
It looks like it also can stream digital TV with PnP on it.
What is the catch with this free service? I just need to report to them the speed activity through out the trial period
