Late Night Snack

Unusual late night snack for me. The unusual is I had a pack of assorted semi dried fruits that I bought the other day. A juicy dates, apricots and Figs (Buah Tin) with a cup of hot green tea. Lying on the couch while listening to a music....something that not everyday I can have this precious moment. Usually I am busy doing some reading.

Melbourne Aquarium

Yesterday I went to the Melbourne Aquarium with the camera but not the battery. In the end I still managed to capture the fun using my HTC Touch Dual video cam. The quality is far from satisfactory but at least I can capture the memories. Some cuttlefish, jelly fish, shark, stingray and other display make everyone giggle with their show. Surely it does give me a bit of relief seeing all this.....

Unlucky Me

I woke up early today because I was disturbed with an email I received last Friday. It such a sudden for me to make a decision. Prepare some breakfast.. a scramble egg with calamari. Wan came in to pick up the GPS because Leo need it. Then I went to city and my plan is to visit the Melbourne Aquarium.

Dah syok jumpa Nahar and had lunch with him terus ke Melbourne Aquarium with an intention to do some shooting.. tapi ha tu lah overconfident today hingga lupa yang battery camera tak bawak! So bad... jadi sempat ambik video jer lah pakai my HTC and the quality memang lah tak bagus sebab 2Megapixel jer kan. Apa-apa pun next time lah pergi lagi...

Naked Chef Doing Some Shopping

After dinner Nahar and I went to the Southbank because he said there is a giant shopping bag on display. Apa lagi snappy lah kitaorang. They are about 5 giant shopping bag on display near the riverbank in front of Crown Hotel. I thought the bag was made from metal or something but actually it made of thick paper. I am not sure what occasion this display is for but probably to celebrate the autumn season sales that is going on right now.

Malas Masak

Lately I am lazy to cook myself. Since Nahar called me to join him to the city then we had our dinner at Nelayan. Dah sampai kenal dah budak-budak tu. Because I am craving for satay so I decided to have chicken satay Indonesian style. Well... the taste is different. I prefer Malaysian satay more. This one rasa dia macam chicken grill biasa saja with peanut sauce. Then I also ordered some grilled fish. Not bad.. something different... overall the meal was good and if anyone want to try Indonesian dish, then this is among the best place to go.

Late Lunch At Chapel St

My late lunch at Chapel St brought me to this place. This is my second time I am here. Some people said that Chili Padi Restaurant is Halal and I saw so many muslim people had their meals there especially the on in Melbourne Central. Kadang tu nampak jugak mereka yang bertudung dine there. Since I am not sure then I only had seafood dish such as this one Tom Yam Noodle with Seafood. The dish was generally good except that it was not spicy enough for me. Bila dah biasa makan pedas macam tak lengkap kalau the dish tak pedas, but the ambient of the restaurant is good and very relax.

My lunch completed with a nice dessert, a mango served with bread and creme. Tapi tak sempat nak ambik gambar sebab tau-tau dah habis baru sedar.

Another Day Another Life

Huwaaaaarrrghhhh... so tired and so many thing to do. First in the morning.. breakfast, and because I am lazy so I just have a glass of milk and a bowl of coco crunch, then a tin of smoked oyster. Usually I will stock up a few cans of smoked oyster together with tuna, sardine or salmon. So bila virus malas menyerang boleh lah bedal all the can food.

Then next thing that I need to attend to is fill up this tedious Ethics Approval Form. Hmm banyak sungguh soalan-soalan nak kena jawap. Once done then I need to show my SV and make a dozen of copies out of it to be submitted to the committee. Luckily my SV is one of the committee and he guarantee me to help me in this thing. Thank God.

Can food yang ni memang tak leh tinggal in my diet. Mesti ada ni kalau tak meroyan nanti

Busted! You Are On Camera

Mulai hari ni I don't want to be a nice guy anymore. Starting from today, this little gadget will help me catch the culprit who always make a mess at the entrance, having sex in the common lounge and mostly I am going to catch the stupid moron who always leave the garbage near the staircase.

So next time guys, sebelum you all buat sesuatu yang stupid ha pandang camera tuh and senyum before I screw up your day. Kalau tak pun aku hentak kepala you all ke dinding batu tuh, atau aku snap your photos while having sex and aku tampal kat setiap pintu, or aku longgok kan balik sampah tuh kat dalam rumah you all semua sampai you all bosan duduk sini. So senang kerja aku kan.

So kalau you all tak nak aku buat macam ni better la you all behave like an adult. Tak kira la ko Melayu ker, Cina ker, India ker, Mat Salleh ker, kalau aku jumpa aku maki dulu korang yer then baru la aku halau korang macam anjing kurap dari sini.

Lorong Belakang

Kalau cita pasal lorong belakang sure kita kata lorong Hj. Alang ker, lorogn Hj. Taib ka kan... but some of the lorong is actually a good place for hang out. Kalau di Melbourne ada satu lorong ni di panggil Centre Place. Tempat ni banyak cafe kecil-kecil yang menyediakan makanan dan minuman and ramai lah orang waktu-waktu peak hours such as lunch and dinner.

Tapi saya belum pernah singgah to any of the cafe here sebab terlalu ramai orang. One thing about this kind of place is they serve nice coffee and cakes. Sometimes better then places yang berjenama atau glamer lah. One day I akan ajak kawan-kawan minum sini lah...

I Am So Content

Today is the day I am so content. God still give me another day to see the world. I am so thankful that today I am still alive. Seeing myself grew up and succeed in all the challenge (so far) is something that I proud of myself. What I can say on my birthday is 'I have been there, I have done that'. So if anyone ask me about what things I want to do or have right now? I will say 'Nothing, except a bless from God because of my good health, spirit and a good life which not many people have.

Birthday is just a number and that number is added to mine as everyone else will. 24th March another day and another year passing by and I am one year older and wiser. It means that no more cakap macam style budak-budak, say the word properly write the words correctly....

Happy birthday to everyone who celebrate their birthday today as I am.

Fine Art Is Something That I Myself Just Don't Understand

There is a sculpture installation going on at Docklands. Sculptures are installing their latest artwork for public viewing. Among all of those sculptures not many of them really catch my eyes, probably I am a kind of person who just don't understand this kind of art, eventhough I am from an art background. Fine art is just something that hardly I can appreciate. I can say that I love art, because art is about creativity, aesthetics, revolution, ideas, thought and etc, but too much of it also can kills the practicality of certain function.

Among all those sculptures only few really attract me. Sculpture installation is not about exhibit the artwork but it about mind, functionality and value.

Easter Is A Chocolate Day

For Christian people Easter means the day when Jesus is resurrected. But I am not sure what is the relationship between that event with the Easter Egg.... especially with the Easter Chocolate Egg. Seems the history changed....

But for me Easter is the day for the chocolate lover to indulge their self with different kind of chocolate. This is the day to forget about diet, the day they forget about anything, except eating a chocolate as much as they can. As for me this is the day I bought some chocolate not to taste but I am deceived by it various shape and colours... Makan nyer tidak jugak and in the end I just throw it...

Routine But Different

Being away means that every single needs need to be attend myself. One of the weekly routine is buying a groceries. Usually I will do this early in the morning while everything is still fresh. Usually I go to Safeway or Coles but this time I go to Aldi. Some friend said it is cheaper and frankly I think it is very cheap. 30AUD would get me twice the amount of groceries compared to Safeway and Coles. The quality of the product is as good as Coles and Safeway or even better.

So this is going to be my favourite stores to buy my groceries in a future. the best part of it it is near to the Prahran Market.

This would cost me around AUD at Coles or Safeway, but here it is only 99Cents


Dried stuff, rice, breakfast coco chips, sardines, raw sugar, eggs, pepper, smoke oyster, snacks and noodles
