Charcoal Chicken

I only had 2 hours sleep last night due to soccer match. Not me who are watching the game but Leo came over. The match started at 5.00a.m Melbourne time and being a typical fanatic soccer fan he insisted to watch at my place. Mean while si Riken dah terbongkang kat umah even though he said he will come over to make sure nothing happen to me.. (ha what that mean?.. hayoooo so suspecious yer)..

Received a call from Silvana and she informed me that pass my paper without any correction. Thanks God and now I really can move on for my research.

Since everyone very hungry and Leo nearly fainted because he claimed that he didn't eat anything for the past 18 hours, so I suggested we go to Zeno Italian Restaurant at Brunswicks. Unfortunately it closed. Then we went to Charcoal Chicken for our lunch. A whole grilled chicken cooked on charcoal, chips, peas, gravy, seafood salad and butter fried rice.

Leo dropped us at the city and we walked home. On the way, we saw this beautiful rainbow formed a complete half circle. I managed to shoot using 2 different White Balance.

Finally the starving Leo survived.. Charcoal Chicken just around the corner

Wah macam ayam golek kan! looks yummy.. owner ni kata ianya mengambil masa 1 jam 45 minit untuk masak ayam-ayam ni


Hmm... ayam ni kan iols and Riken dapat makan sikit jer. The rest tengok jer si Leo habiskan sema.. Mak ai pakcik tu makan macam esok dah tak de hari lain.. habiss dia sapu sema ayam and nasi goreng.. sentap occay..


Balik jalan kaki dengan Riken konon-konon nak burn lemak yang berlebihan dibadan..


Langit dah mendung and suddenly weols nampak rainbow ni.. so terus keluar camera walaupun hujan renyai-renyai... ok this shot iols pakai White Balance Neutral fluorescent lamp 2. Iols pakai ni sebab nak dapatkan warna biru langit since the sky not in blue color waktu tu


Yang ini iols pakai White Balance Cloudy Environment and this is exactly how the scene looks like. Tapi oleh kerana the focus is the rainbow so pakai WB ni macam tak sesuai..But again ni semua adalah personal choice la kan...

When The Sun Goes Down

When I met my supervisor last week the last chat was when he asked me whether I spend some time exploring the country. He said that most of the student stuck in one place and I shouldn't do the same he said. What he told me was explore every single corner of the country doesn't mean that we neglected our study but its more like kill two birds with one stone.

He reiterated that what a waste when we had a chance to see other country but we never did that. Some how what he said was true.

Last Sunday I explored another part of Melbourne. Stop at The Coffee Club and I had a Cappuccino and a slice of Passion Fruit Cheese Cake.

Gathering At Clayton

Today I went to Clayton to Zairi's house for lunch. While waiting for Aiyu and Iza at Parliament Station I took a short walk along the parliament building. I seldom come to this place since it a bit off from the main road...

I heard that Melbourne used to be a capital city for Australia before Sydney and now Canberra. The old parliament building is one of the must see if we are in Melbourne. The I headed to China Town. Not many people because it is early in the morning. By 11.37am we already boarded the train to Clayton. Stop at Huntingdale and we took a bus to Monash University Clayton Campus. Took a short walk because Zairil's house is just accross the road.

Left the place at 7.15pm and I reached home at 8.30pm....

Parliament Building.. they said this building used to be the central administration for Australia

Iza (right) and Aiyu (middle) is finish with their study.. they are going back next 2 weeks. The one left from our group are Zairil and wife, Akmal, Ila and another few guys (sorry lupa nama).. And for Iza sebelum balik buat ok nasi hujan panas ala-ala pengantin, acar, daging and ayam masak merah. Ha kami yang tinggal kat sini kat tak leh nak pi to your weeding reception this August... aku nak jugak nasi hujan panas or nasi minyak... occayyy

Whitening

Done for today.... I managed to construct half of the questionnaire and I still have another half to go for tomorrow. Been busy almost everyday doesn't mean that I neglected my other routine that is not related to study.

Since I am not a person who love to see the dentist, I have my own regime to keep my teeth clean from stained and plaque... I am using Oral B Vitality tooth brush and Pearl Drop tooth paste for my daily regime. And I will use the teeth whitening for a period of 7 days in every month and then I will maintain it twice a week thereafter. Each treatment only takes around 5 minutes and I am ready for other things such as trimming my moustache and goatee. (walaupun tak ler lebat mana kan)

But I haven't cut my hair almost 2 month and I think I want to keep my hair long this time.. Never had a long hair before and I would love to try once. Nanti dah kerja tak de lah peluang asa rambut panjang....

As far as I remember I only went to the dentist twice. One is when I was 6 to remove all my primary teeth and the second is for a medical check up...


Before that I had a seafood mix for dinner.. So I am full right now... hopefully I am not going to selongkar my kitchen cabinet for late snacks..

Half Past Two

What is the time now! Cantik kah jam iols! *matilaa perasaan

Hmmm... I still have half and hour to go so I am not in a hurry. All the document that I need to present to my Supervisor is in the bag. Camera and my laptop too....

Jadi dengan confident nyer I pun jalan keluar tepat pukul 2.15p.m. Sampai depan pintu Supervisor tepat pukul 2.30p.m seperti yang dijanjikan.. Hayooo confident sungguh and suddenly he said. "I am about to email you that we supposed to have a meeting at 2p.m" Errrkksssss.... is it 2.00p.m or 2.30pm?

My diary said 2.30 and his was 2.00.. so nobody know who is wrong who is right. So he said "Probably you started to forget things and the brain damage is appearing" while smiling at me.

So tak leh kata apa lah.. I am in a middle of damaging my head anyway.. so let it totally damage.. then I can claim for total disability status....

A Plumber For A Day

There was no water yesterday from 10pm to 4am and it means that the hot water unit need to be shut down. The plumber had fixed the hot water controller earlier so it should switch on and off by itself. To my surprise it didn't work because we haven't got any hot water till morning.

The hassle to called the plumber is that, a small matter like this would take them long time to response. So this morning I decided to take the problem onto my hand. Took the ladder and I climbed up to the roof. Saw the temperature of the water was 14 degree. So what I did was reset the controller (main agak jer pun) and wallah it works... we have our hot water again!


Who says I cannot be a plumber even for just a day! *pitammmmm

Winter Festival

The Fire Show at Dockland marked the beginning of the Winter Festival. The 10 days fire shows will be followed by the Ice Skating, fire dance and everything that represent the source of warmness for winter.

Since winter is at it early stage, this is the best time to explore Docklands and it surrounding. Indulge yourself with a variety of foods and all sort of street entertainment. Ah.. don't forget to try the Fish and Chips..!

Soon this place will have a new attraction.. the Eye of Melbourne... Not the biggest but big enough to see the whole CBD. On the way back I saw this beautiful moon. I captured this moment without the tripod.. tapi tak menjadi la...

Ha oleh kerana badan naik balik selepas turun minggu lepas.. terus insaf.. lunch makan salad saja yer... tapi portion macam tak diet gitu.. ditambah dengan peri chips yang sungguh lazat..

Before that sempat dinner kat Fish Bar.. Ha nak tau 2 ketul udang, 1 crab sticks, 2 scallops and small chips herge dia 12 bucks yer...


Tepat jam 6.30pm show bermula.. kat sini satu jer lah yang bestnya majlis jarang ada tertunda....


Sema ni didatangkan khas dari Queensland! kelass ghetuu..


Last part of the performance.... mak ai bola api yer.. sampai gegar pelantar tuh!


Walaupun hujan renyai-renyai orang tetap ramai...


Ni lah permenant sculpture di sini.. the only changes they made is the lighting..


On the way back nampak lah moon ni dicelah-celah bangunan.. memang cantik la tapi tak bawak tripod so kena naikkan ISO and bare hand.. Image Stabiliser pun dah tak leh nak cope dah..
