This year I had an opportunity to witness the most grandest Graduation Ceremony in Melbourne. I never know that RMIT had this kind of ceremony. In the morning all the 2009 graduates march along Swanston St from their campus to Federation Square. The evening session is the actual ceremony held in Eithad Stadium (Formerly known as Telstra Dome).
One unique thing about the ceremony is that they divided the stadium into different cluster with it own mini stage. Then there is one revolving stage where the key person sits. The mini stages will run the ceremony concurrently after the acting VC announced the certificate hand over begin.
This is actually the biggest ceremony I ever see.
