Frustrated With Yabby We Went For Stonefruit

Aktiviti hari minggu kali ni Huzaizi and family, Rajiman, Nahar and I adalah pergi memancing Yabby. So excited about these Yabby thingy sebab pernah makan tapi tak pernah jumpa yang masih hidup. Yabby Farm ni terletak di Yellingbo dalam 64km perjalanan dari Dandenong.

Selepas beberapa kali sesat we finally found the place. Ada dua teknik menangkap Yabby ni, first menggunakan string dan daging atau menggunakan jaring.

But in the end kami semua frustrated sebab tak dapat pun seekor Yabby selepas beberapa jam then we decided we should pergi memetik buah pulak. It is not far from the Yabby farm. This time kami tak memetik berries but instead we picked stonefruit at Rayners Stonefruit Orchard. Peach, nectarine and plum merupakan stonefruit yang masih in season. 

The owner friendly enough to guide us how to choose the right fruit and at the same time we can sample all of them.

We ended our trip this weekend with kilos of peach, nectarine, apricot, plucot and plum.... but I am going to find a better place and time to catch the Yabby again.
