Oh no. :( I got tons of Steve Madden and Nose shoes. I thought that all shoes with pigskin lining will be notified with the "pigskin" sign or tag. Even the workers who touched the shoes is a muslim. I am so afraid to even touch my shoes now. I tried checking my Charles&Keith shoes just now but I dont think the lining is from pigskin, still not sure. They all look the same to me.

Are saying that all Steve Madden/Nose shoes lining are made of pigskin?

anonympus: Yes Steve Madden, Julius Marlow, even branded shoes like Gucci, Polo Ralph Lauren etc... I think what we really need is cautious. And recently I found out that they use the pig skin as a shoe lining but in reversed. So basically you won't be able to spot the 3 dots.

u can simply find the pig skin lining in Steve Madden and Nose women's shoes.. be careful. *sigh: there's no sign telling us that is pig skin or not until i realized and has been identified by myself. But Topshop do have the sign telling that their shoes is made from pig skin.

sw33t-bLuebeary: hi there.. the dot is actually quite obvious and can be easily been seen with naked eye. It doesn't have to be 3 dots sometimes. Other type of skin usually does not have distinctive dots, as only pig skin have that.

Some shoes will have part of the lining with pig skin mixed with probably synthetic or even other leather. Usually the part that pig skin widely use is sole, upper sole, and the backside.

Just be careful when buying leather goods from internet as it is difficult to inspect.

i've doubt about this issues since i'm a muslim. i just found out that the shoes that i bought from the internet has this dots which kindda of confusing. i dunno whether it's a pig skin skin when examine the shoes, the dots not really in triangular shape, more toward straight line. some of the line has 3-dot but when i look closely, some of them has 4 or more dots. what is you opinion about my dilemma?
